The Fall House Is Open š
September is here, which means as far as weāre concerned⦠itās officially fall yall!!
Yes, it may still be warm outside. No, that will not stop us from lighting a candle, turning the AC down, making something cozy to drink, and pretending there are leaves on the ground.
This week, the doors to the Lottie Fall House officially opened!!
and she might be our moodiest collection yet.
Three candles. Three completely different fall moods. All made for the girl who wants her home to smell really good without compromising the clean standards she cares about.
Meet the Fall House
THE ROSEWOOD ROOM
Rose ⢠Lavender ⢠Red Patchouli ⢠Vanilla ⢠Warm Amber
Sheās moody. Romantic. A little mysterious. The kind of candle you light after dark with a glass of something good, a book, and absolutely nowhere else to be.
EQUESTRIAN CLUB
Soft Leather ⢠Sweet Tobacco ⢠Tonka Bean ⢠Oud
Warm, musky and sophisticated. Think worn-in leather, dark woods and an old-money fall weekend. Cozy without smelling traditionally āfall.ā
GOLDEN HARVEST
Pumpkin ⢠Persimmon ⢠Cinnamon
Our answer to the classic pumpkin candle. Warm, golden and nostalgic without feeling overly sweet. Basically everything we love about fall poured into one little gold vessel.
A Cleaner Kind of Cozy
We love the ritual of lighting a candle but we also care about what we bring into our homes.
Thatās why we believe your everyday rituals should feel luxurious while still aligning with the standards you have for yourself and your space.
No choosing between the aesthetic and being intentional about what you buy.
We want both. Always.
And while we're talking candles, there are a few little things you can do to make yours burn better and last longer.
The Lottie Guide to Burning Your Candle
1. Your first burn matters.
The first time you light your candle, give the wax enough time to melt evenly across most of the surface before blowing it out. This helps establish an even burn and can help prevent tunneling later.
2. Trim your wick.
Before each burn, trim away the excess charred portion of the wick. A properly maintained wick helps keep the flame controlled and the candle burning more evenly.
3. Don't make it an all-day affair.
We know it's tempting, but candles aren't meant to burn from morning until bedtime. Follow the burn-time instructions provided with your candle and give it time to fully cool before relighting.
4. Keep her away from drafts.
Fans, vents and open windows can make the flame flicker or burn unevenly. Give your candle her own little spot away from moving air.
5. Know when to say goodbye.
As much as we hate this part, don't burn a candle all the way to the very bottom of the vessel. Follow the stop-use guidance that comes with your candle rather than trying to get one last burn.
And one more Lottie rule: never leave a burning candle unattended.
Consider this your excuse to turn your candle ritual into an actual ritual.
Light it while you do your nighttime skincare. Put your phone down. Make the tea. Open the book. Let your home smell incredible while you give yourself a second to slow down.
It doesn't have to be complicated to feel special.
